Dennis Bauer

My journey in dog sport began at the age of eight with a Boxer. Over the years I had the privilege of learning from outstanding handlers and helpers from various disciplines – encounters that left a deep impression on me, both in sport and personally. “Dog sport is more than a passion.”
At the age of twelve, protection work was added, which opened up a whole new perspective within dog sport. I would like to sincerely thank everyone who guided me along this path and helped shape my way of thinking.
With all these valuable experiences in mind, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Manfred Kleinmann, Ronald Carpentier, Markus Neutz, Marc Oliver Radke, Knut Fuchs, Jogi Zank, Björn Giesen, Edgar Scherkl, Günter Diegel, Florian Knabl, Thomas Bretschneider and Jerome Jankins. Each of them has had a lasting influence on my vision and my approach to dog sport.
As a handler, I achieved my greatest successes with my Boxer Areck vom Klockower-Eck – a period that still means a great deal to me. I have also had the honour of judging at numerous national and international championships. These experiences have further sharpened my view of the sport.
Bij onderdeel B hecht ik bijzondere waarde aan harmonieuze, geconcentreerde en enthousiaste prestaties, evenals aan een eerlijke, correcte en reglementaire presentatie door de handler.
I would like to warmly thank the organiser for their trust and wish all competitors a successful, sporting and enjoyable CACIT.

I have been an active competitor in dog sport for 45 years, mainly with a Dobermann.
My record includes numerous trials, among them CAC and CACIT events, as well as some twelve appearances at the Dobermann World Championship.
I am certified as a track layer, helper, IGP instructor and, of course, FCI judge.
Alongside the many trials at club level, championships, international team competitions and CAC/CACIT events, both at home and abroad, I have also had the pleasure of judging at the World Championship for French shepherd breeds and the Dobermann World Championship, and of serving as supervisor at the FCI World Championship.
My aim as a judge is to give every competitor a fair and correct assessment, always in accordance with the trial regulations.
I wish all competitors an enjoyable trial and the very best of luck!

I am Peter Boeters and I have been active in dog sport for more than 30 years, with a great passion for the Rottweiler and for tracking. Over the past decades I have trained and competed at a high level with several Rottweilers. A special highlight is that I have competed at the World Championship with three different dogs. I have also twice become Dutch champion in Tracking Dog 3. Tracking has therefore always held an important place in my work with dogs.
I have been involved in organising the CACIT from the very beginning. Through my many years in dog sport, I have built up extensive knowledge of training, schooling and competing. These days I focus mainly on tracking and I am training a Rottweiler female for IGP. My goal has always been to bring out the best in both dog and handler, with teamwork, motivation, technique and enjoyment of the work at the heart of it.
I wish all competitors lots of success and enjoyment this year.

I am Martin Boeters, 63 years old, and it was through my brother Peter that I found my way into dog sport and eventually into track laying. Over the years I have gained a lot of experience in IGP, and I know how important it is that a track is laid fairly and carefully.
My first dog was Baya vom Schloss Zabo (Rottweiler), a female bred by my brother Peter. With her we achieved IGP 1, 2 and 3 and the SpH. These days my partner handles Magnus vom Schwarzen Grat, a six-year-old male. Magnus has also achieved IGP 1, 2 and 3 and SpH 1. We have now competed at CACIT Netherlands twice. This year the focus is on the Dutch Rottweiler Championship and the qualifying trials for the 2027 Rottweiler World Championship.
As a track layer, I try to lay every track as fairly as possible, so that every dog has a good chance to work the track correctly and complete it well.
At CACIT Netherlands 2026 I will once again be contributing as a track layer. I wish all competitors the very best of luck and a great, sporting competition.

I am Leo de Jong, 64 years old, and this will be my third time laying tracks at the CACIT. I am active in IGP as a handler and track layer, and I train with Rottweilers, with whom I have competed in various trials and Rottweiler World Championships. I am looking forward to working with the whole tracking team again and wish all competitors the very best of luck!!

My name is Marieke Vaandrager, I am 43 years old and I live in Groningen.
As you can imagine, I spend a lot of time on the tracking field, and I will do my very best to lay the best possible tracks.
I am really looking forward to meeting you all and wish all competitors lots of success and fun 😁 Let's go for it!

I am Gert-Jan Janssen, 59 years old, living in the lovely village of Kronenberg, and this year I will be taking part in CACIT Netherlands for the third time. I have been active in IGP for more than 20 years, and in recent years also in tracking.
I hope that this year, just like previous years, we can enjoy a really great and sociable trial, laying excellent tracks together with my fellow track layers Martin and Leo! The reason I chose to lay tracks is the good organisation and atmosphere within the team, and the gratitude of all the competitors!
That's how dog sport should always be!!

I have already gained some great experience as a helper, but CACIT Netherlands is by far the biggest event I have taken part in in that role so far. I am really looking forward to being part of it, to seeing so many amazing dogs and, of course, to an exciting and fair competition!

My name is Nigel de Jonge, I am 29 years old and I was born in Rotterdam. I have been active within the VDH for many years and now work as an all-round helper at both national and international level.
For me, protection work is about more than carrying out exercises. It is about working with the dog: every dog is different and needs its own approach. Timing, feel, movement and insight are essential. The welfare and development of the dog always come first for me.
I have been active as a helper within the VDH since 2012. Among other events, I have worked at the NKK, NIAK, KCM, several WUSV pre-selections and three times at the CACIT Netherlands Golden League. I was also a helper at the WUSV World Championship selection in 2017 and at the WUSV Universal World Championship 2026.
Over the years I have had the opportunity to work with many different dogs and handlers. It is precisely that diversity that makes protection work so special for me.
I wish all competitors, handlers, dogs and the CACIT Netherlands 2026 organisation lots of success and, above all, a great, sporting competition!

I am Arne Vandewaetere. I grew up in this sport thanks to my father, who did Schutzhund with our first German Shepherd, Xeno, and was also active as a helper. As a young boy I started in the sport with tracking, together with Xeno when he was already a bit older. Later I began training the full programme with my first own dog, Jaro. At sixteen I started training as a club helper and worked on developing my skills. When I was eighteen, I passed my helper exams and worked as a helper at a trial for the first time. What I love about being a helper is that I can follow in my father's footsteps, and that we get to spend more time together during training.
