• I grew up with dogs and had dogs around me as long as I remember.
• In 1980 I purchased my first GSD puppy. With this dog, my first competition
  dog, I did over 80 trials with 4 times regionals and 3 times nationals..
• Member of GSD club “our faithful friend” (OTV) Heusden from 1980 &
  president in this club since 2015.
• In my club I got real quick involved with the protection work and in 1985 I got
  my official helper and tracklayer license. As helper I did many trials and was
  also helper for regionals, nationals, and selection trials.
• I gained the bronze, silver, gold and brilliant Trainings Medal at the VVDH.
• In 1987 I bred my first litter of GSD’s. I’m still involved in breeding through
  my wife who is breeding GSD ’s under the kennel name “von der
  Daelenberghütte”.
• In 2001 I received my official FCI Judge license. Besides many local trials, I
  judged also regionals, nationals, different selection trials in Belgium and in
  many different countries around the world.
• In 2001 I joined the “VVDH Working-Dog Commission” and from 2009 till
  2018 I was president of this commission.
• In 2001 I was also first time team captain for the Belgium WUSV team and
  did this for 15 years.
• At World champion level I judged on following occasions:
  o 2014 WUSV-World Championship UNIVERSAL Vranov nad Toplou,
  Slovakia, Protection phase
  o 2017 WUSV-World Championship IP in Tilburg, Netherlands, Protection
  phase
  o 2018 FMBB in Ajdovscina, Slovenia, Protection phase (final OB)
  o 2019 WUSV-World Championship UNIVERSAL in Nantwich, UK, Protection
  phase
  o 2022 WUSV-World Championship UNIVERSAL in Lerma, Spain, tracking
  phase.
  o 2024 WUSV-World Championship UNIVERSAL in Semur en Auxious,
  France, tracking phase
  o 2024 WUSV-world Championship in Meppen, Germany , tracking supervisor
