T. Benaerens

My name is Thomas Benaerens, I am 35 years old and have been active as an A+ helper since 2014. Over the years, I’ve been able to build my passion for dog sports at both national and international levels. I’ve participated in over 100 trials, both in Belgium and abroad, always with full dedication and commitment to the sport.

My heart lies first and foremost with the breed where it all began: the Boxer. With two of my Boxers, I’ve competed in various national and international championships, with the absolute highlights being a Vice World Champion title in 2023 and the World Champion title in 2024.

I mainly practice helper work at my own club, which I founded together with the board about ten years ago. Our club has grown into a strong, welcoming community where several breeds are trained, including Malinois, German Shepherds, Dobermanns, Rottweilers, and of course, Boxers.

It gives me great pride to see our members grow year after year. Many of them achieve impressive results at world championships and CACIT trials. I’m especially proud that this year, no less than three of our members will compete at the CACIT Netherlands – a wonderful reward for their hard work and for our club’s ongoing dedication.

Last but not least I was reserve at this amazing event last year and I’m more then happy to be part of this amazing team again! Good luck to all participants!!!
